| Minnesota Business Ethics Award
Minnesota Craftsman Painting, of Saint Paul, Minnesota, formerly known as Jerry Wind Quality Painting, was honored recently when it received the Minnesota American Business Ethics Award in the small business category. The award was presented to Ron Wolfe and Bill Mitchell, both principle owners of the company. Ron Wolfe, Minnesota Craftsman Painting Company's President, commented that, "since 1980, the company has been committed to quality, craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. We place a significant emphasis on recruiting, training and retaining the very best painters and finishers in the Twin Cities market. With our company motto 'The Gold Standard In Quality Finishing', our employees are committed to maintaining high standards in everything we do."
The mission of the Minnesota Business Ethics Award is to recognize Minnesota businesses that have exemplified and promoted ethical conduct for the benefit of the workplace, the marketplace, the environment and the community. A business may be nominated by a customer, client, employee, vendor or a private citizen who is impressed with the ethical conduct of the business. The businesses are judged in one of three categories: large company category based on number of employees, public or private company and small business having 100 or fewer employees.
The Minnesota award is sponsored by the Minnesota Chapters of the Society of Financial Service professionals in partnership with the Center for Ethical Cultures (formerly Minnesota Center for Corporate Responsibility), University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Management, and KMSP UPN-9. Local finalists move up to a national competition that culminates in three national American Business Ethics Award recipients. |
